What’s behind these statistics?
Each entry is one prize won by an individual £1 Bond number in a monthly draw. The 25,527,733 awards belong to 25,526,068 different winning numbers: 25,524,403 appeared once, and 1,665 appeared twice. No number appeared in three or four covered draws.
The winning-number downloads group Bonds by prize size. Their counts and totals have been checked against the official prize tables. Only these four months are included; these are not lifetime records or a ranking of savers.
The public results don’t show every saver’s full balance or the complete history of each Bond. Prize counts alone can’t tell us which savers have been the luckiest.
